SUPERB PAINTED FRENCH ANTIQUE HENRI II STYLE PAINTED BUFFET / DRESSER C1890 This superbly carved quality antique French kitchen / dining dresser is constructed in solid wood and has been painted in pale grey. There is wonderful carving throughout featuring fruit, flowers and a shield to the doors with turned columns and repeating patterns throughout. The buffet has been treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course and though in lovely condition with only minor knocks and bumps in keeping with age c1890. Measures Overall : 225cm tall overall (height to the top of the base section 100cm) x 60cm deep base (40cm inside depth) x 150cm at widest point.
